First Day of Class

Earlier this week I eluded to fact that I have decided to enroll in graduate school (again) this spring. This time, my goal is to obtain an MBA, focusing on either International Business or Entrepreneurism. Yesterday was my first day of class and I must admit I was a little nervous. My nerves were a result of a few factors:

~ It's been over 3 years since I've been a student
~ The university I attend is predominantly engineer and science majors
~ The class subject is based on technology and how to use in the business world
~ I am not a tech savvy person

Like I mentioned in my introduction (in class), unless its email, this blog or Microsoft Office (lol), I have no idea what it is or what to do with it. The instructor is very nice and made all of us feel welcomed. Oh...did I mention that it was only 5 students (4 on campus and one distant) in the class? LMAO

So in essence, I really didn't have much to worry about. Lol. Since the class is so intimate, the environment fosters interaction and discussion, rather than boring lectures and quizzes. My first assignment is due next week so I am scrambling to pick a topic. Once I've made a decision on what I will discuss/present, I will let you all know to get your opinion.

I want to take this time to thank all those who contacted me once they got my last entry (mentioning grad school), and wishing me well in this new venture in life. Like most said, I was fine and was probably over prepared for this first class. But that will not stop me in setting the bar high for myself. The goal is to not only pull a GPA of a 4.0, but to also retain some good information to use now in my career and int the future.
